Babies Worldwide

New research from researchers at the Cambridge University, England is expected to show that mothers who bottle feed their babies could be putting their health at risk. The research involved over 13,000 mothers.

Part of the risks involve using the wrong concentration of formula, or changing brands – perhaps due to economic pressure. The timing of feeding can lead to overfeeding or undernourishment both of which could have a long term affect on the baby.

The main reason for this lack of knowledge was actually down to health professional who promote breastfeeding as best for babies.

The report, published in the Archives of Disease in Childhood, said “inadequate information and support for mothers who bottle feed may put the health of their baby at risk.
