Baby Switching At Birth
Posted by admin on April 3rd, 2009Babies switched at birth. This tragic mishap occurs more commonly on television than in real life. It just might be the most overused plot device on the soap opera the Young and the Restless.
Can you imagine a worse nightmare? You spend two years with a baby boy, breastfeeding him, watching his first steps, hearing his first words–and then you’re told he’s not yours. How do you stop loving a child you thought was your own for two years?
However, the likelihood of a baby switch occurring is almost none, but imagine the worst case scenario: You’re sent home with the wrong baby and like the two women in Russia you raise the child for two years. What would you do? Would you keep the child you had raised for two years or the child who has your genes?
